Cashier - Full Time:

Job Responsibilities

●        Greet customers as they enter and direct them to areas of the store as needed.

●        Process sales transactions and payments with a friendly and kind attitude.

●        Calculate the cost of products or services when needed using basic math skills.

●        Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.

●        Properly bag items to ensure protection from any damage.

●        Restock items displayed near the register.

●        Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change.

●        Answer general customer questions about products or services.

●        Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.

●        Report issues as needed.

 

Skills and Requirements

●        Ability to remain calm and clear-headed in stressful situations

●        Attention to detail and good with numbers.

●        Basic math skills, including the ability to make correct change and accurately calculate percentages using a calculator.

E-commerce - Full Time:

Job Responsibilities: (Training Provided Accordingly)

• Fulfill online orders by physically pulling products from the sales floor in a timely manner, printing shipping label, packing items securely to avoid damage and closing out items in Shopify admin. 
•   Provide expert-level customer service for online orders and help troubleshoot customer issues with site and/or delivered products.
• Online and in store gift wrap.
• Respond in a timely manner to daily Direct Messages from customers with answers to product questions.
• Manage all product information on Shopify, ensuring accurate product descriptions and photos that meet Sunset & Co’s e-commerce standards.
• Maintain accurate organization and categorization of online products and their collections.

Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time and to lift/mobilize medium to large items, up to 35 lbs.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business, including weekends.
• Ability to work cooperatively with employees and customers.

Hardware Sales Associate - Full Time:

Job Responsibilities: (Training Provided Accordingly)

●     Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service regarding Hardware products including:

● Mixing interior/exterior paint (Benjamin Moore, Ace Hardware).

●Selling Big Green Egg, Weber, and Traeger grills and grilling accessories.

●Assisting customers with questions about gardening, cleaning, electrical, plumbing, and other hardware-related products.

● Assembling large items such as grills, product displays, etc.

● Cutting keys.

● Unloading weekly Ace Hardware truck and restocking items in store.

●Clean store areas as assigned.

● Coordinate special orders of Ace Hardware products at customers' request.

Skills & Requirements:

●  Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time and to lift/mobilize medium to large items, up to 60 lbs.

●   Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business, including weekends.

●    Ability to work cooperatively with employees and customers.

Home & Gift Sales Associate - Full Time:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide helpful and friendly customer service regarding kitchen/housewares related products, dining, entertaining, fashion accessories, and gifts.
• Restock merchandise from previous day sales.
• Merchandise assigned product lines by ensuring fixtures are appropriate, stock levels are full on sales floor (moved from back-stock), and clean products/fixtures in assigned area as needed.
  

Skills & Requirements:

•  Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time and to lift/mobilize medium to large items, up to 35 lbs.
